This has been the fastest month of the year so far
Bankruptcy declared in the very first week, with a 20K shortfall (All thanks to my Singapore trip), and yet, the rest of the days sped by. June marked the completion of one successful year at work, for me and a lot of my friends. FB pages seemed to be so full of these statuses.
Met my college mates, and yearned to get back to coll and start afresh. I had met them all, after 8 odd months. College used to be so much fun, and all the related cliche’s put together.
All my gym efforts came to a stand-still because I wanted to get up and study. Eventually the study also stopped
It was an all new experience to see your boss getting worked up because of his boss, and his boss getting worked up because of his boss, and his-his boss getting screwed up because of his-his-his boss. If you can make sense out of it, you are terribly caught up in the corporate cult – Beware.
Paatti comes to India, and no matter what state you are in, her “Abi, innikku leave poda mudiyuma” (Can you take leave today?) statements every morning, worked wonders for me.
“Inner Peace” kept me going. I seem to not get enough of the movie.
Went for a night show without telling my mom with office colleagues. Am so hoping she doesn’t read this page of mine
I didn’t realize it was July 1 yesterday. I simply lost track of time.
Fruit shop opposite office and the Mango shakes.
Went to office on a sunday.
Made a lot of plans for trips, and even with nothing materializing, I am still planning. I need to travel.
Bought a big bar of dark chocolates, and got literally addicted to them for a week.
I continue to miss Nive.
More chocolates from Singapore, Peanut butter toasts, amma’s “Vatha Kozhambu” continued to make my days, the best.
Hope July gets to be totally nice to me.
one year n corporate world – congrats
